How Lowqta works
Lowqta helps you discover products and compare prices and offers from stores in Egypt, in Arabic and English. We are not a retailer and do not sell products or fulfil orders.
The price we show
We use the latest accepted price observed from the product source and show its observation time. Updates do not mean every change is monitored continuously. Prices older than 24 hours are labelled as last recorded, and unavailable products are not presented as live offers. Check price and stock at checkout.
How we calculate savings
With at least three distinct prior observation dates in the preceding 30 days, we use the lower median of accepted daily prices, excluding today. We call this the typical price we recorded. Without enough history, we may use a retailer-reported comparison and label its source. The claim does not prove that the product sold at that earlier price.
On Amazon, Jumia and Noon, we reject unsupported claims of at least 95% off and retailer references more than 50% above a usable recorded reference. These two checks apply to marketplaces. For all stores, a tenfold or greater price movement needs two successful independent observations at least 15 minutes apart before acceptance.
Ranking and coverage limits
Website ranking balances the percentage reduction with EGP saved and the type of product, giving recorded comparisons more weight than retailer claims alone. Featured recommendations require an accepted price within 24 hours, availability and a score of at least 50. Coverage is not exhaustive across stores, sellers or products. Scores do not guarantee quality, authenticity or the lowest price in Egypt.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, the shop may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing and never changes the score or the order of deals.
Retailer links record a referral click in the website’s own system whether optional analytics is accepted or declined. Google Analytics choices are separate and do not change the assessment rules or your purchase.
